Directions to Hotel am Bismarck
If you come by train:
When you come out of the Mannheim main train station, turn right towards the post office; turn left at the post office and follow the street called Tattersallstrasse towards the Water Tower. This will bring you directly to Hotel am Bismarck.
If you come by car:
From Autobahn A6 or A5 take the A656 in the direction of Mannheim-Mitte, then follow the signs to Mannheim-Zentrum (B37). At the end of the Autobahn at the Planetarium (careful here: speed trap!) turn left following the signs for Universität/Hauptbahnhof/Ludwigshafen on the B37. After 700 meters, look for the rental car agency SIXT on the right and turn right to the hotel before you get to the Bismarck monument.
If you come by plane:
From Frankfurt Airport (81 km) there is a direct ICE train connection every hour to Mannheim Hauptbahnhof (main train station). The ride takes about 30 minutes. There is also a Lufthansa shuttle bus which stops at the Congress-Center, about 300 meters from the hotel.
